Voting

I admit it.  I didn’t vote.  I didn’t care to vote.  I disagree with every candidate in equal amounts.   Now you know.

I didn’t vote either. I actually might have this time if I’d known when to register. They don’t advertise voter registration much. Or at least they don’t on any of the media I pay attention to. And I was sick. I still am sick. I halfway expect Bones to show up and say, “My Goodness Jim! We have to get this man to the infirmary!” I think I might have Tarkalien Plague.

Er…you can register at the same time that you go to vote. You register, then they let you vote.
I did vote. All of the candidates (except one, from personal testimony) sucked. So I picked the lesser of the evils and I punched the ballot. Though I seriously considered not voting, a letter from the First Presidency read in our Sacrament Meeting told me that it was my duty. So I obeyed. I guess God still needs us to go on as if the end of the world as we know it is not going to change within the next 10 years. And maybe it won’t. We’ll see. :-)
