Seriously, you have to try this. It’s basically like making a grilled cheese sandwich. Get some chunky peanut butter, grape jelly, and a hearty white bread. Proceed to make a normal sandwich but be generous with the PB & J. Butter one side of the bread and put it in a skillet on medium high and butter the other side while it’s cooking. Flip it over and eat it while it’s hot.
This tastes nothing like a regular PB & J sandwich. It is SO awesome that there is nothing even to compare it to. By the way, it doesn’t hurt to have a glass of milk nearby.
You might think it’s unhealthy to fry up a perfectly good sandwich. But once you’ve experience this little slice of unwise deliciousness, you may never go back. Along those lines, if you are trying to lose a few pounds you might spare yourself this experiment so you can stay on track. I can’t have a peanut butter and jelly anymore without thinking this could have been fried.
